The extreme number of leaves which have fallen again at this time of year, pose a huge fire hazard from sparks and ashes.

Charcoal grills should not be used on wooden decks. Propane or electric grills are allowed; they do not require a permit. (Ashes and/or charcoal are a fire hazard.)
